Owned Reddem Racing, three-year stallion Nyquist (Uncle Mo-Seeking Gabrielle (Forestry)), won on Saturday, May 2, jump the Florida Derby (Gr.1), with prize money of 1 million US dollars. Distance of 1818 meters at the Hippodrome Gulfstream Park (USA), has overcome stallion in agility 1.49,11, thus becoming the top favorite for the Kentucky Derby, which will be held on 7 May.
His nickname - Nyquist, the stallion was named after the famous Swedish professional hockey player who played in the most popular in America and abroad League NHL. Despite the heavy rain, overcame the distance Stallion "from place to place" comfortably finishing with a margin of 3 ¼ body of outsider Majesto (Tiznow-Unacloud (Unaccounted For)), who came second.
